About
KARINA
KARINA is an Irish/Roman poet, playwright, fiction writer, electronic musician, video artist and conceptual artist. Since 2012, she has published five books, including the controversial (banned) Covid novella FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION SLUT and Rotten Milk (from Tangerine Press), seven techno plays, and had her work featured in over 80 publications and festivals, including The International Poetry Studies Institute, Deleuzine, The Chiron Review, The Hurricane Review, Fugitives & Futurists, Expat Press and The Los Angeles Review of Books.
In 2023, KARINA co-founded DeepSNAKES, a collaborative project that merges human writing with AI visuals to explore the technological zeitgeist. Within DeepSNAKES, KARINA has created the world’s first play to be performed by AI (Dionysus in Digital), developed the new literary genres of Techno Poetry and The Theatre of Meaninglessness, and curated and created the DeepSNAKES Techno Poetry Mixtape.
"[KARINA] conceives a hyper or augmented reality for a post-truth world, gamifying and eros-ing new narrative into disassociation" ~ Jack Skelley, Los Angeles Review of Books
